On the wall a wide, ribbed band with four medallions with scenes in it: two ladies (long lines) playing 'go' on a terrace at a table, two ladies, one with a flower pot, and a boy (fool) in an interior, a lady and a dancing boy in an interior, two ladies on a terrace, one dancing, the other watching while sitting next to a table on which lies a book. On the shoulder a band with flower sprays (prunus, peony). Around the foot a band with flowering plants. On the lid a scene with two ladies on a terrace by a table with a book. On the edge flower branches (lotus). Marked on the underside with the six-character mark of Emperor Chenghua in a double circle. Glue residue on the bottom.
