Each sheet consisting of two sheets pasted together, the last 10 of which are blank. On the outside cover (back) the inscription Photographies. On each side of the pages 2 photos (one above the other) have been pasted. There is tissue paper between the pages. In total the album contains 82 pasted photographs with 5 loose photographs in the back. The first 25 photos are numbered in the margin in pencil. This numbering corresponds to a handwritten list (see documentation folder NG); the remaining photos are unnumbered. The photos concern the construction of the Gajo road in Aceh in North Sumatra between 1903-1914, route from Bireun to Takinguen.
