Photograph - Warloy-Baillon Communal Cemetery, France, Sergeant John Lord, World War I, 1916-1917, Black and white photographic print which depicts the Warloy-Baillon Communal Cemetery. Warloy-Baillon is a small village located in the Somme region. It was only ten miles east of Warloy-Baillon that the British Army launched the Battle of the Somme. For this reason many field ambulances were sent to Warloy-Baillon prior to the battle to prepare for the attack on the Germans.
