Plate by Ab van Alphen, Plate with a crowned (burial crown) alliance weapon on the edge, consisting of two coats of arms against a background of sheet metal. If the sign was indeed from the French admiral, something the inscription suggests, then it was Admiral Chateau Regnaud, commander of the 14-line French squadron that protected the Spanish silver fleet in Vigo Bay.
