The meeting, called by the Protestant Christian Organization of Poultry Farmers and intended as a large demonstration, became a complete fiasco. First of all, the attendance was extremely poor and secondly, the chairman of the Farmers' Party, farmer Koekoek, attracted more interest than the secretary of the PCOP.
