On the long, non-profiled piece, four silver plates in the shape of coats of arms have been nailed: a crowned weapon (Prince Maurits), a weapon with a tilted tower behind water (Alkmaar), a helmet with a private label and above the inscription: A / D / D / I (probably Adriaen Dirckzoon de Iong, captain of the old militia in Alkmaar), and a weapon with a cross (St. George's Cross).
