The print shows an interior in which the fatally wounded farmer and his wife lie. In the background, two scenes show how the man and woman are attacked by the bull and how the bull is eventually killed. Below the scene is a description of the events, several verses about the main characters and a statement by the doctor involved, in 6 columns.
