Soldier on guard with a rudder grabbing his fuse (no. 38), c. 1600, A soldier on guard, full-length, to the right, holding a rudder (a particular type of firearm) with his left hand. In his left hand, in addition to the rudder, there is a burning fuse (no. 38), c. 1600. With his right hand he picks up this fuse.
