The arms are bent and stretched out at an angle to the body, the hands are open, the thumbs are spread apart. The fingers are indicated by simple incised lines. The figure wears a long, smooth robe that reaches almost to the feet. Only the chest area is slightly bulging. At the transition to the neck a thin bulge is indicated. On the pedestal is written Azālat, that of Abyadaʽ. The inscription identifies the sitter as an in-laws of the clan Abyadaʽ, which is occupied several times. The statuette belongs to the type of the so-called Beter. The hand position corresponds to a prayer and supplication gesture of the old Orient. The hardly noticeable curvature of the chest lets a woman open in contrast to other statuettes. Whether it is a priestess, a dignitary or a private person is not to be decided.
