Strijd tussen Dood en Natuur of Zegege der Schilderconst (part 20) and Fifth screening, Continuation of the play Gooden Pleijdt ofte Triomphe der Schilderconst over de Doodt. At the bottom is the last of five renditions, intended to explain the structure and main themes of the play. This final display describes how Painting is crowned by Nature and flanked by Apollo and Pallas. The nine Muses and the Free Arts, accompanied by Mercury, all sing a hymn to Painting, the only force that can defy the battle with Death.
