Strip of bobbin lace with diamond-shaped rosette flowers on wavy branch, Strip of natural-colored bobbin lace. The repeating pattern consists of a wavy tendril, which is interrupted on the tops and in the valleys by a diamond-shaped rosette flower with an open heart of flowers. Halfway each wave there is a curved leaf on either side of the branch. The faint scallop edge along the underside of the strip is formed by a succession of smaller rosette flowers with an open heart of flowers. The motifs are connected to each other by a diamond-shaped mesh ground, a borehole grating. The motifs are made in linen, with thicker contour threads.
