The repeating and symmetrical pattern consists of a fan-shaped flowerpot, flanked on the left and right by a loose circle along the upper edge and straight below it along the lower edge by an oval cartouche overlaid with rosette flowers. The motifs are connected by a diamond-shaped mesh ground. The motifs are made in linen stitching with few recesses and with thicker contour threads. A snowflake ground was used as an ornamental ground between the flowers in the pot, in the circle and in the cartouche. Top and bottom edges are finished straight, with picots on the bottom.
