The pattern is formed a two rows of lying j-shaped ribbons, with the j-'s in the bottom row mirrored with respect to the j's in the row above. A star-shaped motif connects the ribbons. The ribbon is made in densely worked linen stitching, with openwork edges and a worked-up center. The stars are made with picotized braids. The top is finished straight with a band of square meshes.
