Temple for the Netherlands, 1794, Temple for the Netherlands (title on object), Allegorical monument in the form of a temple with the enthroned Batavian Freedom between Religion, Justice, Moses with the tables of the law and a Batavian in the center. The temple's vestibule is decorated with portraits of historical heroes and patriots. In front of the throne the Hope and Gratitude with four children (Commerce, Art, Agriculture and Fisheries) with a beehive. To the left and right of the temple are two Batavians as guards.
