Terracotta plaque, Archaic, 6th century B.C., Greek, Cretan, Terracotta, 2 7/8 in. x 3 1/4 in. (7.4 cm x 7.9 cm), Terracottas, Segment of a palmette-lotus band. The two small holes at the top of the plaque suggest that it was suspended. The piece was probably part of a longer band of ornament.
