Tour around IJsselmeer on autopeds. It started with a bet, a dairy worker from Sint Maartensvlotbrug, a village in the north of North Holland, made a bet with his landlady to scoot a scooter to Oosterwolde in Friesland. That eventually didn't happen, but it did turn out to be the prelude to a round around the IJsselmeer on a scooter for a total of six colleagues. On Monday, November 15, at half past seven in the morning, the starting shot was fired by Mrs. Lambarts, the landlady involved. The first stage was particularly tough with a strong headwind and pouring rain over the Afsluitdijk.
