(39.4 x 28.3 cm), Drawings, Theodosius Forrest (British, London ca. 1728–1784 London), Forrest trained under George Lambert (1699/1700–1764) and took drawing lessons from Paul Sandby, but then followed his father into the law. As a solicitor for the Covent Garden Theatre he maintained close ties to the arts and exhibited annually as an amateur at the Royal Academy until a few years before his death (suffering from nervous depression, he committed suicide at the age of fifty-six)
