Triumphal arch in honor of the emperor, Giuseppe Barberi, Italian, 1746–1809, Pen and brown ink, brush and brown wash on blue-white laid paper, Obliquely shown. The central archway is flanked by two smaller ones upon which putti of Victory stand between groups of seated captives. Upon the central arch stands a pedestal; its front bears the inscription of which the first line is intelligible. On top is a group of figures and lions upon steps. Urns with flames stand at the corners of the lowest step. Trees form the background of the square.
