The Underground found a mass grave of 104 executed resistance fighters in dunes near Overveen. The government initiated an investigation. The exhumations took place in the presence of Mr. H.A. Wassenbergh while the corpses were identified by the doctors M.B.E. Nilant (pathologist-anatomist at the Binnengasthuis in Amsterdam) and the well-known doctor S.P.L. Hulst from Leiden. The indentified [sic] corpses are placed in the coffin.
