Vase Vase of faience, multi-colored painted, Vase, bottle-shaped. The belly is decorated around with three large vignettes in which blue painted scenes are derived from an engraving by P. S. Bartoli (1635-1700) after paintings by Juilio Romano in No Sala di Constantino in the Vatican. Between these vignettes, China-inspired horizontal borders of floral, leaf and band motifs in red, green, blue and gold. Horizontal 'Hoppesteijn edges' on foot and shoulder. Two flower bouquets on the neck. Marked with the monogram W considered that of Jacob Wemmersz. Hoppesteijn from 1664-1674, owner of 't Jonge Moriaanshoofd'.
