After they were completed in 1651, they were demolished again in July 1654. To the left and right of the Blokhuizen are two hamlets. Various boats sail on the water. There is a tree in one of the boats and the mast is being lowered on another. Children swim from a raft or jetty and a figure does his business at the right front.
