Her left foot rests upon a cushion, her right upon a floor of marble mosaics. An angel kneeling upon his right knee and placing his right hand upon a globe is supporting the legs of the Virgin upon which the Child sits. His body is turned toward her, his head seen frontally. The columns support a cover, with MARIA SS ORA PRO NOBIS inscribed in the front. The Dove of the Holy Spirit flies below the inscription.
