A Young and an Old Centaur, Young centaur, The centaur at a trot with right front leg raised has the right hand triumphantly raised and fingers clipped. He holds in his left hand a curved club, which lies over his shoulder, from which also the skin of a boar hangs backward to over the left forearm. The smiling head with curly hair, horns, and pointed ears is turned toward the left shoulder; the tail sweeps out to the right. In the hollow of the back a tuft of hair; on the flanks hair; on the hooves irons.
